Region: Burgundy, France.
Grape: Pinot Noir & Chardonnay.
Colour: Red & White.
Tasting Notes: The Pinot Noir has a lush nose of ripe cherry, raspberry, red berry and lightly-toasted spice aromas. It is fairly sharp and lean, with a light cherry flavour, and some cinammon, while the Chardonnay has flinty notes on the nose with touches of green apple. The Chardonnay also has a delicious combination of tangy crispness and rich, mouth-coating texture.
Alc/vol: The Pinot Noir is 14%, the Chardonnay is 14%.
Serving Suggestion: The Pinot Noir goes well with cold cuts, pork, sausage, braised ham, and goat cheeses. The Chardonnay can be served lightly chilled on its own or with seafood, fish and white meat dishes.
